Rosemount Area Arts Council (RAAC) was founded in 2007. It was formed out of the excitement surrounding a city task force directed at finding a solution for what to do with the Old St. Joseph Church and School on Hwy 3. After yearlong discussions at the meetings the main pull was to turn the church and school into a center angled towards the arts. Regardless of the outcome some members of the task force wanted to create a non-profit group to keep the dream and love of the arts alive.
In November of 2007, a public meeting was held and as expected not only artists but people who simply love the arts showed to ask questions and offer their support and talents. We hope that you become one of those special people that help us grow to inspire the masses.
